Welcome To the praise of Jesus and Mary In reading the True Life in God Messages you hold in your hand, read them from the start, then follow the book in order so that you become immersed in God’s Love for you. You will understand, while reading from the beginning that God is calling you to an intimate relationship with Him. Jesus Christ asked me to tell you always to take my name, Vassula, out of the Messages and replace it with your name. You will hear Him then speaking to you, reanimating your soul to move, aspire, and breathe in His Glory. God will draw you very delicately into His Heart so that you no longer belong to yourself but to the One who moves you in union with Their Oneness (The Holy Trinity). I want to thank everyone who supports and helps diffuse these Messages. Jesus said on several occasions: “My Message saves souls.” Let everyone who is moved by the Holy Spirit become witnesses of God’s infinite Love. May you, too, become a disciple of these End of Times.
TRUE LIFE IN GOD: DIVINE DIALOGUE I have read all the TRUE LIFE IN GOD books and meditated on their contents. I truly believe that the books contain the Divine Dialogue of the Holy Trinity, Our Lady and the Angels with humankind through Vassula Rydén. I have not found anything objectionable and anything contrary to the Church’s authentic authority on faith and morals. Reading these books and meditating on the contents are spiritually beneficial to all. I recommend these books to every Christian. Editor’s Note The Holy Scriptures are quoted constantly in True Life in God yet, without acknowledgment. They are also perfectly flowing in syntax with the rest of the text. These two aspects give a living witness to the supernatural origin of what is said. No one can make a complaint that it is a private meditation because you can only meditate on what you know. The vast quantity of Scripture quoted in sentences or phrases is beyond the mind of most people to memorize such an extent as to quote unconsciously and constantly. These quotes are from all over the Scriptures and not simply from a few isolated Psalms or favourite Gospel passages. Moreover, many quotations and terms are essentially Hebrew and not translated accurately in some of our modern versions of the Bible. This is so especially where the texts, if they had been looked up, would have given non-Hebraic expressions. True Life in God uses the correct Hebraic expressions. We will consider some of these expressions alongside a little critique of the text where the Jewish/Hebrew dimension is affected. There is very little grammar in Biblical Hebrew. It is rabbinical teaching that the absence of the grammar and the use of the "and" manifests that the work of God from the beginning of creation and all salvation history is one continuous unfolding act of God, and is therefore, expressed by one continuous sentence. True Life in God has few full stops. The accurate reproduction of the text, therefore, is in itself a witness of divine authorship to Jews, scripture scholars and anyone who wishes to exercise discernment when reading True Life in God. A false prophet with no scriptural knowledge would, be writing naturally, include full stops. The punctuation in this book follows the original handwritten Messages, where semicolons replace full stops and where sentences begin with lower case letters. Vassula says, 'I never understood why the text was punctuated in this manner until one day Sr. Anne Woods explained it in her book entitled Invitation to be One with Christ that the Old Testament in Hebrew was written in the same style.' Throughout all Jewish Bibles and literature capital letters are used for pronouns when God is discussed. The Jewish reverence for the Name of God puts to shame a large number of Christians who have stopped showing this reverential exception in grammar. True Life in God, like Jewish literature, always gives the personal pronouns a capital letter when speaking of One of the divine Persons or to an Act of God when He intervenes. At the back of this book, interested readers will find two appendices: the first contains a prayer of repentance and deliverance that our Lord wishes us to say; the second contains correspondence between Vassula and the Congregation of the Doctrine of Faith at the Vatican regarding the True Life in GodMessages.

Notebook 110 True Life in God 1 __________________________________________________________________________________ 2003 May 31, 2003 My Vassula, peace to your soul; take these words and engrave them on your heart and mind; I am here!1 look to yourself... write: My word was addressed to you to forward it; this was My Command to you; then I placed this precious treasure into your hands; Sovereign Ruler I Am and it is I who decide and counsel, therefore, no creature can come and tell Me when to till My land or not; no creature should advise Me or counsel Me whether I should pasture you Myself or not; no one of you should tell Me what to do; if I feel it is necessary to refresh My priests with rich food and see this generation in so need have their fill of My good things and restore them, I will do so freely; I do not need counsels from the dead; it is written that an unspiritual person is one who does not accept anything of My Spirit: he sees it all as nonsense; it is beyond his understanding because it can only be understood by means of the Spirit; on the Day I visited you I cleansed you from your guilt; I had looked at My garden then, before My Day, and had seen a wasteland; I knew you through and through; I had scrutinized every one of your actions, all were recorded in my book; your days listed and determined, even before the first of them occurred; 1 The Father speaks. before My Presence stood an endless wasteland; I said: "I will visit her with blazing fire and I will remove this heart of stone and give her a heart of flesh instead, to honour My Name; then, having done that, I will invade her with My Spirit and she will live under My Grace 2 giving her the Spirit of fortitude, perseverance and endurance, of fear of Me and of observance to My Law of Love; I will endow her with the Spirit of Knowledge and open the eyes of her soul for discerning the spirits; then I shall raze her to the ground, dragging her into the desert in which I drag My anointed ones; once in there, I will bring to her memory her evil conduct to loathe herself for her sins and her offenses she had done towards Me; I shall strike her with bitter remorse for her having been indifferent towards Me, her Creator and Father; on that Day when I shall expose her nakedness, she will finally level herself to the ground;" compassionately, then, and with great tenderness I lifted you to Me and held you in My Embrace; My Angels and My Saints upon witnessing this marvel taking place, said: "what marvel! the Master of the heavens and of the earth and of all that came to be has triumphed over wretchedness now; this dry land so recently a waste, is now befit for our Lord to take His rest and lay His plans in it; our Lord, in His Mercy, has rebuilt and replanted what was ruined, glory and praise to the Almighty; O creation, rejoice for our 2 I heard simultaneously the word' gaze'.
2 True Life in God Notebook 110 __________________________________________________________________________________ Lord and King will utter His desires, addressing you through His instrument His Noble Theme; all this will be freely given to you all..." blessed be God for I have been helped and my flesh has bloomed again in His Divine Presence; I thank our Lord with all my heart; I will bless forever my God; praise shall be constant on my lips for allowing me to walk in His Royal Courts... the one who has been blessed to contemplate You, has no other attraction or desire than be in You and love You; being at the edge of the Fountain does not satisfy me anymore, but only when You will draw me inside the Fountain immersing me in Your Source, will I then feel sated... I am the Elixir of Life and the principle of the entire cosmos; and for all ages and for eternity will always be... the Awesome Mystery… but I am your Father and you are the bone of My Bone, the flesh of My Flesh, in whom I delight... you must keep secure all My teachings remembering always the beginning so that you increase your Knowledge of Me, your God; from these Odes everyone will be able to learn from Wisdom and understand the Holy Scriptures in the Light of the Holy Spirit who gives Light on My Word, in order that salvation can be obtained through faith in My Son, Jesus Christ; yes, Vassiliki, I am here to remind you and everyone else how I turn deserts into sheets of water and arid countries into flowing springs; I am the Spring of your heart, generation, and in every hour of crisis I am always with you to console you and give you hope; look at yourselves, you who allowed me to flower in you; remember how once, you too, were dwindling away like a shadow among shadows? had you maintained your former stand I would not have revealed Myself to you; blessed are those who had sound sense and gave way to My Presence, understanding that to gain their true freedom was to embrace My Holy Spirit; all My Works are sublime and full of majesty; ah, I have My Eyes always on those who meditate on all that My Word contains, reflecting on its meaning; they will find happiness and the meaning of their existence, thus drawing heaven1 all the way to earth and within them; it is written: "whoever fears the Lord will act like this and whoever grasps the Law will obtain Wisdom;2 yes! you too can meet My Holy Spirit and possess Him and He will receive you as one receives a virgin bride; then together on the Nuptial bed He will lay down His Divine plans for you, while in His exuberant Love for you, He will be offering you the bread of understanding to eat, and the water of wisdom to drink, thus He will shroud you in the radiance of 1 I heard at the same time, 'My Kingdom'. 2 Si 15: 1-2.
Notebook 110 True Life in God 3 __________________________________________________________________________________ immortality in His immortal splendour; the Lover of mankind will show you how you will go around to serve Him and Love the Triune God; We will sate you with Divine tenderness, intertwining Ourselves with you in Our embrace; We will be retracing in clarity and precision the path of life for you; come and give thanks aloud, praising Me in the assemblies and have your heart always ready to receive My instructions; yes Lord! for what have I to say? Your Rules, Lord, are melodious psalms now in my ears, and your Laws a Love Ode because You have visited me... union and conversation with my God is excelling all the pleasure of this world put together; I am filled with Your Love and I praise Your Holy Name that allows me to share in Your Light; the dose of Knowledge You have been instilling in me overwhelms my soul, Your Commandments epitomise faithfulness; You have shrouded me in flames, burning with the only wish to become liquid in You; when with tenderness You open Your Mouth to speak, as Your Word unfolds it gives light, not only to my soul, but all around me, for faithfulness is its essence... I lie frequently awake though, throughout the night, asking myself: - how is it that so many of Your creatures stopped believing in You and are in such great apostasy? - the sight of these renegades depress me, many of them hound You, oppress Your Divine Love and call You a 'cheap myth' ... - each one of them comes up with their own freaky philosophy declaring it worldwide with brazen words; they defy Your Law, digging pitfalls for those who are weak and waver; endangering the whole earth to fall apart; "yet He Himself fill their houses with good things;"1 - in earlier days I had to suffer in Your Fire and I shrivelled in the desert and in so many other ways… in these days I still suffer and grieve for the lack of faith around the world and how pitilessly they crucify Your Word over and over again; - they expose with pride their godlessness as though they had discovered a treasure, but in reality they have discovered tar and soot and their hands blackened want to blacken the whole world; - evil has become universal… then, in Your Great compassion, You call forth one among Your prodigal sons, You call forth one of them, and after having sifted him through and through You anointed him with a prophetic spirit to go and fight the 1 The Angels spoke suddenly.
4 True Life in God Notebook 110 __________________________________________________________________________________ evil, and clean the tar that covers the world with his own bare hands; - insignificant he may be and of no importance, but the power of the Holy Spirit is his strength; concerned only to obey God and do the Father's Will he pays no heed to his persecutors; - as a warrior that has been appointed to combat with valour, and defend the Church, he does not shudder but goes forth proclaiming that God is Great, the Greatest... proclaiming His Kingdom ... - You give Your Word to him to enliven and brighten their hearts in which evil had been dwelling and wash away the filth, but all he gets is 'lethargy', 'rejection' and 'desolation'… I lie awake asking myself: - "why has Yahweh veiled His Face to so many of His creatures? - why is He depriving these philosophers to see and contemplate His Face? - why doesn't He silence them? Yahweh is known to peer through the shadowed darkness of every soul and I wonder, is there any chance of salvation for these? or are they all going to perish in the flames of hell? will they, somehow, through a special grace from You, make peace with You and reconcile? will they ever come around and welcome Your Word as a Living Word? these renegades keep increasing and they fear nothing since they are in power; today if they deny You, my God, publicly, they are sure to get applaud and raised in position and stature from their like ... but those who follow You are diminished by them in the eyes of all the community and ridiculed; they are brushed off like a fly ... they say with confidence and pride: 'where is this Lord of yours? where is His Glory? and what has become of the great Lord's House? was there anyway any House at all?' stop there and let Me answer your questionnaire! it is true, I take no pleasure in godlessness, but first I will allow Myself to ask in turn My questions before I answer yours; tell Me, what is brighter than the sun? and tell Me, what relieves the heat in arguments? who sets a guard on each one's mouth? can you tell how I control all things? can anyone tell what is the good in any man and what is the bad in him? and how can I tell and in which way do I know? question yourself and answer Me... it is the Holy Spirit that is brighter than the sun and it is He who brightens every heart...
Notebook 110 True Life in God 5 __________________________________________________________________________________ yes, supreme in power, in equity, excelling in justice, yet no oppressor; the Holy Spirit can lead each one of these renegades into being from nonbeing; He can restore them through the sacrifices and acts of reparation of others and prayers offered by My holy ones; you see, My Vassula, man's compassion is limited and does not extend as Mine; but My compassion extends to everything that lives; I rebuke, correct and I teach, bringing them back gently into the fold; as for what relieves the heat in arguments, is it a gentle word? yes, a word uttered with love can alter a whole situation; it can stop a war; it can melt ice and calm down a storm; it can extinguish a fire; Scriptures say: "you have to be gentle when you correct people who dispute what you say; never forget that God may give them a change of mind so that they recognize the truth and come to their senses, once out of the trap where the devil caught them and kept them enslaved..."1 therefore, a good word is worth more than a piece of gold I think, I believe, You set a Guardian by our side to check on us and express our plea in a way that can never be put into words; yes, it is written that I have given you the pledge of the Holy Spirit; He comes to help everyone in his weakness, reminding man where his duty lies and being man's Advocate, 1 2 Tm. 2: 25-26. He would plead to Me, the Father, saying: "release him from descent into the pit, for I have found a ransom2 for his life;" and thus spared, spared from sliding into the eternal fires, I3 allow his life to be spent into the Light;4 then, he will praise Me and give glory to Me… to those who repent I permit return… I cherish man's generosity like the pupil of My Eyes... as for answering You the other questions, Father, I do not know; I do not know how You control all things, and I will never know... I do not know either what has man inside him unless You give me an insight by grace; nor do I claim to know how You know; You are an Awesome Mystery, awe-inspiring, Author of this Love Hymn, author of revelations, Author of saving acts throughout the earth; I call, in my wretchedness, to the people of the earth, to lift their eyes to You; to all who love Your saving power give constant cause to say, 'God is Great!' for myself, wounded from Your Love, I remain Your auxiliary slave, at Your disposal, always hoping, always longing, for a renewal given by Your Holy Spirit upon all mankind ... 2 From a victim soul, or: from the sacrifices, penance and prayers generous souls are offering to God for the conversion of sinners... 3 God the Father. 4 The Holy Spirit.
6 True Life in God Notebook 110 __________________________________________________________________________________ I have had pity on this generation, this is why I have called you and strengthened you to write down My Words; in this manner everyone can read them, everyone will be able to benefit from My sayings; I wanted you to proclaim My Fatherly Love, My goodness and My compassion to the whole world, and how I show mercy to those who truly repent… now let Me answer you: I am Omnipresent; and as you say, rightly, I am an Awesome Mystery; but there are those who defy this Mystery; and yet My Holy Spirit, the source of all that came to be, the source of Knowledge, is willing to distribute His gifts to all mankind, giving them1 signs and teachings through His ineffable Light; let Me remind you of My Word; it is written that I, God, can see into the innermost parts of man and unceasingly observe his heart, listening to his tongue; indeed, My Spirit fills the whole cosmos and that which holds all things together; I know what man contains in his heart; remember, My Light is so pure that it pervades and permeates all things on earth, in heaven and in the entire cosmos...2 I know all men and not so much as a murmur of complaint escapes Me... 1 Mankind. 2 The Lord gave me at this instant a vision of someone like the Son of Man, standing alone with open arms, extended horizontally and containing within His Body all things, everything, the entire cosmos. Nothing was outside of Him. the Spirit is the giver of faith through grace, He is the power in which He embodies the whole of the creation; it is in vain to believe that man on his own can reach God, or even comprehend what is a Mystery and incomprehensible, unless My Spirit descends upon them giving them a light of understanding, revealing to them the hidden mysteries through a revelation; otherwise it is nothing more than mere presumption; you have seen the misery around you, men of blood, men with guilt3 on their hands, wastrels, and the like; let Me answer you: a slave, when he is called in the Lord, becomes the Lord's freedman and a freeman called in the Lord becomes Christ's slave; but those who rebel today against Me, in their rebellion become slaves to the evil one, and in their rebellious spirit are in enmity with Me, their God; you ask, 'why has Yahweh veiled His Face to so many?' I have always veiled My Face from sin; I cannot be present with impurity4 or with godlessness; as for your philosophers who declare war against Me, it is because not only they do not tolerate anyone above them; swollen with pride they say: "I am sitting on the throne of God;"5 then they lie waiting for the virtuous man to pass by, to pound on him and crush what opposed their way of life; you have asked Me, My Vassula, whether there will be any salvation for these too; I delight in showing My 3 Soot and tar. 4 Ws 1: 4-5. 5 Ezk 28: 2.
Notebook 110 True Life in God 7 __________________________________________________________________________________ Mercy, for however great the number of sins committed by anyone, grace is greater; I can grant them to see My faithfulness and that I am ready to pardon their crimes; it is written that I am going to judge the world with justice and pronounce a true verdict on the nations; ah! what is man that You should spare a thought for him? yet You have made us little less than a god; may all men recite Your praises and rejoice for Your Saving help ... today I am giving you the gift of My Mercy; slandering My Words will do you no good, generation; I am in your days looking down from heaven at all of you; have you not noticed? you have become like leaking cisterns that hold no water; many have abandoned Me, and the heaven stands aghast at this rebellion; I had filled your heart at birth with the fountain of living water; I had filled your heart with My Presence; now, like a cracked cistern, you have run dry; you are hollow; am I not to intervene then? I am renewing, Vassula, My creation; this is the beginning of this renewal; this is My passage among tombs, among this vast graveyard, My passage will turn the tombs into glorious Cathedrals with the Fire of My Love within them! the splendour of My Presence within them will be awesome; from non-being within the tomb, and as dark as in a tomb, My passage among you will be as brilliant and as luminous as a sun; the shadow of death and the darkness of evil will fade away then like a mist, with My luminous Presence; numerous are My Calls and the grace of the Holy Spirit Has never been so obvious before than in your times; men of blood can say what they want to say, state what they want to state, but I will go over them and their sayings and their statements, for I am raising apostles and saints who will shine with the grace of the Holy Spirit upon all mankind; I will teach them, Myself, to reach degrees of high holiness despite the emphatic cacophonies of their enemies who will show them neither pity nor charity; I will, though, give them the spirit of perseverance, a spirit so valiant that their mere presence will shake the foundations of hell, since they will be dressed with the glorious splendour of My Son, Jesus Christ, and their tongue will be like a double-edged sword; they will shine brightly on everyone, good and evil men together, to warm their hearts and enliven with My Word all the corpses that are scattered; eternal blessing will come out of their hands; they will free many from the passions of the world that kept them imprisoned and rooted in sin; and the 'True Life in God' Ode will be sung in My Assemblies, child, to turn everyone into gods by participation; they will read out numerous texts, for My sayings are Byzantine lectures raising you from naught into gods,1 leading you into high levels of ascetic spirituality and practices; a mystical life that can be 1 Gods by participation: adoptive sons and daughters of the Most High.
8 True Life in God Notebook 110 __________________________________________________________________________________ attainable and reached by every human being; I, the Lord love My creation and I do not want it to perish! unceasing joy of My Heart, My Vassula, receive more of the Fire I blessed you with for My apostolic work I commissioned you with; do not let go off My Hand; never fear! I endowed your soul with My Spirit to renew your spirit; Love is by your side; (this message took several months to finish.) October 30, 2003 For Rome's meeting of TLIG My peace I give to you all; blessed of My soul, work in harmony in My Name; I am on your side and with you; whosoever opposes you in your work, he will be opposing My designs; do not waver any longer but open your eyes and rejoice! since you have been brought to live a true life in Me, you must look for1 My Interests; depend on Me, and I shall send My Light far and wide in you; be fit for Me, your Lord, never ceasing to do 1 heard at the same time the word 'after'. good; rely on Me and you shall live; be one; Later I, the Lord Jesus, who raised you, tell you: - may each one of your labours produce its fruit and that your activities done in My Name be fruitful; - may your oppressors who in vainglory rise higher than My intentions, accusing you without mercy in their lack of sound judgment have their sins fall on their own heads; be in peace; I am with you, Vassula-of-My-SacredHeart... ic December 12-15, 2003 feel free to come to Me, My beloved; he2 is reckless and keeps fanning fire; could I always look at apathy? his ways revolt Me... now grant Me your time, daughter, attend to My interests and honour Me; love Me and abide in My Light! We are near you to sanctify you and bless you; We are near you and with you to guide you; 2 this was about a priest who discontented our Lord since 1985, despite our Lord's merciful attempts to straighten him up. We had to separate from him...
Notebook 110 True Life in God 9 __________________________________________________________________________________ I am the Light and he who lives in the Light becomes part of the Light... in Me there is no trace of darkness nor any shadow; grace makes part of Me and is light as well; when grace is diminished on someone that persistently offends Me, so then the light given to him diminishes and gradually too fades away... if one remains in My grace, he remains in My Light that widens his knowledge into spiritual realities and riches, since a powerful transformation takes place within the Light, leading him towards higher ascents, deeper in Me, your God, progressing his soul, enlivening him, putting him ablaze, and like a straw lifted by fire, in this manner do I lift him into higher ascents of holiness; but those who fall from grace, fall from My sight and what a fall that is! they fall into profound obscurity, in veils of darkness... all of you are given access to make part of My Light and become one flame; as much as grace is Light, so are the virtues that are in the Light; they are obtained by those who dwell in Me, in My Light, and through the intimate relationship with Me; these1 will enliven you into becoming light allowing you to grow into piety, truly resembling Me, transforming you into a god2, and transforming your mind, soul and heart to radiate My Glory, for within you will be Nobility Itself3, My Kingdom and My Throne; and 1 the virtues. 2 god by participation: adoptive sons and daughters of the Most High. 3 God. anyone who sees you will be perceiving Me, not you; altogether we shall be one; My Light, My grace and My virtues obtained through your effacement will be streaming in you, inundating your soul to such a degree, that your spirit will be aware of My Divinity; just as I once explained it to you, when the bride who stepped in the bridal Chamber was allowed to lift the veil of her Bridegroom and discover His Divinity behind the bridal veil, so it is when by grace I draw your soul into My depths of Light, when I have condescended you to behold My Holy Countenance, a formidable sight that is; falling away from grace and from My Light, produces in a soul such darkness and inadequacy to discern right from wrong, that it becomes an impediment to grace and unless guided4, this soul will remain in darkness; to regain grace and the Light, this soul has to strive unceasingly; a difficult spiritual ascent but not impossible; Vassula, I and you will continue to work in this way for the benefit of My Church; My Soul pains Me for all that I see around Me5; do your work with Me, I delight in your nothingness; remember, I am an Infinite Ocean of Mercy; I Am is with you; ic 4 by a spiritual director. 5 Jesus Christ is grieving on the world, the state of the Church (people) and as well on the misbehaviour and unfaithfulness of certain people in our groups.
10 True Life in God Notebook 110 __________________________________________________________________________________ 2004 February 5, 2004 daughter, I have wrapped you in a robe of light to show to this generation My Glory; have you not read that I use the winds as messengers and fiery flames as servants? a single day in My courts, a few drops of My Blood on them, a single glance from Me and a blessing with anointed oil and they are ready and sturdy as a rock to go out and address My Word to the world; the assembly of the holy ones in heaven accompanies them to swiften their feet; I, Myself, shepherd them while hastening on the way we are to go; ah, Vassula, I am the Resurrection and the Life; all I have given you in written form is an effulgent spring that purifies body and mind, soul and heart, cleansing tar and soot; I, the Christ, have the power to transform your entire being from darkness into light; for the past eighteen years I have been speaking to you in your heart through the power of My Holy Spirit; My Merciful Odes that hold within them mystical revelations and instructions, are for you and for this atrophic generation; they are a gift from the Father, from Me and from the Holy Spirit; We did not speak in a manner philosophers speak, but as friends do; the treasure I have revealed to you in these messages is Myself... My daughter, I had asked you in the beginning of My call to you to make haste and run to your brothers and sisters to share this divine treasure with them in which I reveal My Glory and My Mercy; I had asked you to summon everyone, no matter who they were, or from what creed they belonged to, and stir them up from their sleep; some, as you have seen, responded to Me with great zeal, willing to practise even an ascetic life; others though, have failed to understand Me and rejected Me for no reason, affecting others as well that surrounded them; I have given you, My Vassula, lectures of Byzantine spirituality as well, yet even those who say they worship Me, calling themselves Byzantines deprived themselves willingly to step into the palm of My Hand and recognize Me; then grossly rejected My blessing and My grace... they claim they know everything but they know nothing... to encounter Me, when I am manifesting Myself through Light is a prodigy; nothing is impossible for God; so, you1, brother, of the Eastern Church, I ask you: - can I, as God, unfold My Mysteries to man if I so wish? - can God, in your times manifest Himself to man through a ray of divine Light and that man can perceive it through grace? - you attribute true religion to Orthodoxy, has then Orthodoxy ever rejected the possibility of divine Instruction given to man through the Light of the Holy Spirit? 1 The Lord gave me a specific name of a sacerdotal soul who lives in the USA and belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church.
Notebook 111 True Life in God 11 __________________________________________________________________________________ - tell Me, My friend, what is the peak of the mystical life you are talking about? is it not the intimate and personal encounter with Me, the Christ? - can man perceive My Knowledge1 on his own? no, indeed no, My Knowledge is perceived only through the light of the Cross which makes all things that are invisible to the eye, visible, and luminous; it is only through the Eye of your redemptive Instrument that one can see all Its bearings; - what is then to know Me and understand Me? and what is the relationship between God and man? - can I, as the Christ, award the fullness of My grace to those who sincerely seek grace? - you have performed many tasks daily, but I earnestly would like you to find refuge in My Heart, have your repose in Me, your God… - can I, as God, in your so aggravating times, manifest My grief to man, and to whom I please, sharing with him My concerns? - do not delude yourself and say, "it is impossible for a simple man to obtain the treasure of the Holy Spirit!" who are you to judge Me? what is dust to provoke Me? undoubtedly, everyone in the end will be judged and will have to answer for all that he has done or not done; - have you, who scrutinize Me, ever tasted Me, like David2 ? - are you sure you are possessing Me and yet you do not recognize Me in My speech? 1 Wisdom. 2 David of the Psalms. - learn to say: "I have learnt how to possess God, He who fathered me, He made Himself known to me, yet without ever losing His transcendence! He who encompasses all beings possesses me as well and has now, in my nothingness, ordered all things within me to be according to His divine Will..." then, having said this, you must tell Me, My friend, what is it like to have discovered Me within you? what was it like to have lifted the Veil of the Bridegroom and discover My Divinity? allow then My Holy Spirit to invade you with His Light and turn your soul into a Cathedral! - can any man reach, while on earth, the ineffable and purest virtue of impassibility without Me having visited him by Fire? - and if indeed I passed through a city3, would it go by unnoticed? or would My passage not enflame the entire city? - have you not read before that I can guide My people and reveal to them My Will without notifying man? - is it evil when the Bridegroom comes to this generation to draw souls closer to the flames of Love of His Heart and enshroud them in Me to enable them to rule with Me, their God? I solemnly ask you, what have you done with the Scriptures? are they not My reflection? how is it then, if you say you know the Scriptures, you do not recognize Me in this work? how is it you so easily contradict the truth? - can a man who is spiritually dead understand the Scriptures putting 3 metaphoric: our Lord means 'soul'.
12 True Life in God Notebook 111 __________________________________________________________________________________ them into practice unless he is alive? if a man understands the Scriptures and My sayings that are reflecting My Image, he would not say: "Scriptures are enough for me and the sayings of the Fathers of the Church..." in these times of grace, I present Myself as Mercy; I have not come to add anything new, or contradict the Scriptures and the Tradition of My church, nor have I come to raise a new church; but I have come to renew My creation and resurrect the dead seeds to a Life in Me; I have come to embellish My Church that I bought with My Own Blood, enrich it and fill it with divine Light; I have come with Mercy to unite My Church; learn that everything is under My Sceptre; ic March 2, 2004 God is anointing His own to bring them to a perfect mystical union; yet, how is it that when You, my God, accomplish so many marvels and wonders, a work that surpasses the mind of man, the earth is not put ablaze? God came in Splendour and Glory to us, inundated with His Own Light, and looks at us, afire with majesty, with a train of His Archangels, He descends in this glorious manner, - a formidable sight, to address us; no sooner than He opens His Mouth then a ray of dazzling Light brightens even more His Holy Face; then He reaches out to us with flames of passion to remind us of the power that He yields by giving us The Inheritance, while calling us all to attain perfection in an ineffable union with the Divine; yet, O ineffable Beauty, Royal Dignity, the sound of the unfaithful who are buried in darkness is piercing my ears! yet in spite of their unfaithfulness My gaze of Mercy is fixed on them; yes, have mercy for those who offend You, and are clinging to vanity and its kind, for they are deeply embedded in the deepest pit; 'unfaithful lot! you have blasphemed the Will of God and your spiritual fruit is Chaos! come and summarize your life-span and see what lies ahead of you: putrefaction of the soul and total Death... I had, in the past, felt somewhat Your Judgment when I had scorned, before I met You and Your Law; yet, You came to me, out of pity and lifted me... You breathed in me and You made me whole; O Compassionate God! open the eyes of Your people; they are great in numbers who do not see... should mountains topple to mingle with waves, should rocks melt like wax before My Face, to those who fear Me, I would still be merciful ... 16 True Life in God Notebook 111 __________________________________________________________________________________ Since they are starting to cheapen My Work, neglecting the path of Wisdom, questioning My Sovereign Power for the one I chose to anoint with prophecy, I, as Father, will lift My child away from those who harass her; today I am saying: from now on, I will keep My Messages hidden for a while, since My Call is not heeded nor are My Instructions lived; My Presence in this way, has not been appreciated either and if I find it necessary, I will strip them from our visits as well; My Vassula, I have blessed you and anointed you for this apostolic mission; I have blessed you to grow perfect in My Spirit, to grow tall as the cedars and the cypress, spreading your branches foretelling you that I would breathe many more revelations in you; I have prepared you in My royal courts and, still freshly dripping with heavenly dew, I have sent you to be among all mankind; I have sent you to all of them as My Own, My Own gift, carrying My teachings to be given to them so that they benefit from them, but they have taken you and My teachings for granted; they have taken My Words and the one who carries them lightly, many of them straining you uselessly, treating My gift inconsiderately, and as they pleased; am I then not to intervene? I am going to deprive them of My faithful word through you, since their hearts have become gross towards you and My sayings; I had once said1 that if you harassed her I would give her enough strength to overthrow you, reminding you that her severity will be My severity; I had said to everyone2 that you come from Me and that I will be among you, and this sign will be shown on you... ah, so many times I heard this lot sneering behind your back, separating you from My Message! With forked tongues spitting venom on you... happy are those who were not in this lot and had the decency to respect My teachings and their bearer, I will open the gates of virtues to them; and you daughter, I tell you, My Calls to you will continue; I will not deprive you of My Presence; if anyone questions you on this testimony, tell them: "honey was dripping from the comb all these years, but you were in search of other things; you have not troubled yourself to taste it;" far from being content with what I was offering, avidly you ran for the latest novelty, collecting a whole series of other messages according to your own taste, instead of listening to the truth, you turned to myths... Notebook 111 True Life in God 17 __________________________________________________________________________________ accessible to everyone; the days of reckoning had come; the days of reprisals were here; I came down to My Vineyard and as I was passing through I gasped and drew a long breath filled with grief; "is this the place where a thousand vines were to be?" concealed below the vines I noticed another growth, this of nettles and brambles, all of which were affecting My vines; then a voice was heard coming from beneath the vines, "ah, now I have access to build myself an imposing place, for outrivaling others;" seized with indignation, I ordered My envoy to issue a decree in which I gave My authority to uproot all these nettles and brambles that were persistently plaguing My vines; I am the VineKeeper who will enter My Vineyard when I please and check its progress; I have shown to them My Kingdom and taught them the knowledge of holy things, but they have not given Me full return for all the graces I have given them. I nurtured them and they were not satisfied with the food I was giving them; I gave them drink but in their folly they substituted it with mercury yielding My Glory to their own; although they once said: "I will not yield God's Glory to another one's, yet they yielded My Glory to self glory; now I shall plant the lowly in their place; pride was not created for man; what has dust and ashes to pride itself on? and I, with My Holy Spirit will keep visiting you in this tranquil manner, just as blood runs in one's veins continuously with no exterior sound, so will We visit you; remain cloistered in Me, My Vassula; ic August 20, 2004 Vassula, give Me your attention and listen well; pen every word you hear... dawn will come from the East; whisper not My Words but declare them with force; no revelation of this kind would remain hidden; the love of neighbour should be your main concern; let your mouth be filled with My Words exhaling My fragrance, perfuming the cosmos; therefore, reveal Me to others that they too may profit and rejoice; bear witness and do not allow the hardened hearts nor the small-souled people discourage you; I, too, had them as well during My time on earth!
