True Life in God Magazine Issue 20 (Special Witnessing Issue) - page 3

Vassula was born in Egypt of Greek parents
on 18 January 1942. She is married and has
two grown-up boys. Although baptised
into the Greek Orthodox Church she rarely
thought of God until 1985 when she began
to receive Divine Messages. These have
been named, by Jesus Himself, True Life in
God. They have now been translated into
over 40 languages and all the work has
been done by volunteers; Vassula receives no royalties for any books
published.
In these PropheticMessages (some of theprophecies have already been
ful lled) God is calling the whole of His creation to return to Love while
asking Christians to unify His Body, His Church (“Orthodox! Catholics!
Protestants! You all belong toMe! You are all One inMy Eyes!”). Vassula’s
mission is to go out and proclaim theTruth. She has now visited over 70
countries and has spoken in over 900 meetings, some with audiences

as large as 100,000 people. True Life in God Messages are profoundly
spiritual and are written in a clear and direct language. We are invited to
enter into conversation with God substituting Vassula’s name in these
texts for our own. Once having done that we are gently led into the
mysteries of the Triune God and begin to grow in the Knowledge of God.
Through the bounty of the Holy Spirit acting in us (Second Pentecost)
we then begin to grow in God’s Love, Peace and Unity. Jesus’ prayer to
the Father (John 17;21)
“may they be one in Us, as You are inMe and I am
in You, so that the world may believe it was You who sent Me;”
will then
be accomplished. Jesus explains about this prayer on 10 December
2001:
“My words intonated were meant that the whole of creation must
be a ected into a spiritual unity not a unity by a signed treaty; to ful l
MyWords the churches must seek rst humility and love, graces that can
be obtained through the Holy Spirit and through a great repentance;”
In the latest Messages published under the title of Odes of the Holy
Trinity, theHolyTrinity summarize the purpose of theseDivineMessages:
to rediscover the revealed Truth and to enter into the spiritual espousal
with God, the wedding feast of Apocalypse Chapter 21. In that union of
creature with God, God’s Will will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, for
we will nd true Life, the life in God and with God.

TRUE LIFE IN GOD
April 2012 ISSUE 20 ISSN 1363-9358 MAGAZINE
This issue of the TLIG Magazine is dedicated to Vassula’s
recent evangelisationmissions. Unfortunately some of them
seemed “lost” in the process of editing and publication. We
should be grateful to those who have taken on the task of
making these reports available. First of all, on behalf of
TLIG readers I want to thank those who wrote the reports.
I also want to thank Jonathan and Maggie Kosoy who have
taken on the task of editing all mission reports. Also, our
thanks are due to Mark Jordan and especially to David
Armitage who has worked hard to produce this issue of the
magazine.
Perhaps some are not aware that photos that look fine on
the internet are not always of the correct size for printed
publications. The TLIGmagazine is produced through team
work. I am called the “Editor” but much of the work is done
by Ewa Allan and David. Certainly, without David there
would be no magazine. We also need good articles from
our readers and we especially need others to give witness
to the effect that the TLIG writings have had or are having
in their lives. So, whilst thanking all those who have had
anything to do with this issue and thanking those who are
very necessary to the production of any TLIG magazine, I
also would like to invite our readers to send articles and
even short accounts of the impact TLIG is having on them
and their families. We all need to be encouraged, and we
need to support each other. Please remember the magazine
sometime in your prayers and please encourage others to
read it.
