"Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life." John 6:68

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke 21:34-36.

Jesus said to his disciples: "Beware that your hearts do not become drowsy from carousing and drunkenness and the anxieties of daily life, and that day catch you by surprise
like a trap. For that day will assault everyone who lives on the face of the earth.
Be vigilant at all times and pray that you have the strength to escape the tribulations that are imminent and to stand before the Son of Man."

    Commentary of the day :

Saint Hippolytus of Rome (?-c.235), priest and martyr
    The Apostolic Tradition, 41

“Be on the watch; pray constantly”

Pray before your body rests in bed. And then, around the middle of the night, get up, wash your hands with water, and pray. If your wife is there, both of you pray together. If however, she is not yet a believer, withdraw to another room to pray, then return to your bed. Do not be lazy for prayer…

We must pray at that hour, for the elders from whom we have this tradition taught us that at that hour the whole of creation is resting for a moment from praising the Lord. The stars, the trees and the waters stop for an instant, and the whole choir of angels who serve God praise him at that hour with the souls of the just. That is why the believers must hasten to pray at that hour. The Lord also testified to this when he said: “At midnight someone shouted, ‘The groom is here! Come out and greet him!’” (Mt 25:6) And he goes on to say: “Keep your eyes open, for you know not the day or the hour.” (25:13) When the cock crows in the morning, when you get up, pray again.

I posted the commentary because I didn't realise the 'midnight' hour was so important .... it was like a message within the Bible verse, which would otherwise have gone unnoticed.
Just like in the Message you posted .... even a word or phrase within a message has a message. Like this paragraph about winter.

Then comes a supplication from Christ asking us to, "pray that the Father's Hand will not come down in winter". I do not think we prayed enough because the Hand of God indeed came down just before winter comes in! One of the coldest in many years... where as I said so many people froze to death in Russia, in Poland and in Turkey and Greece they have it very rough. The prophecy continues to speak about "flames and thunder," "The islands, the sea and the continents will be visited by me unexpectedly with thunder and by flame. Look what a trial Australia had with fire. But this is not all, fire means war also.....

Now I sound very apocalyptic, but for heaven's sake we are living apocalyptic times and if anyone denies it then let me also know which cocoon you have installed yourself in to join you as well...

The Lord ends his message by asking us once more to repent! And ask the Father to relent. Yet, he says that soon we shall see him as the Judge. When God turns away his holy face, one feels it, but when he looks at us, it is like the rays of the sun that shine on us giving us joy and warmth. So I sometimes feel that since the 11th September somewhat this world made God turn away his face away from it. That does not means that his love has lessened but it seems that we are collecting the harvest we have sown.

But hear me, the triumph of the Two hearts has to come and I know, believe me, it is just around the corner. God will triumph, he must!
