"Honouring Russian Orthodoxy"

English | Français | Deutsch | Español | Português

...it is I, God, who designed Russia for My Glory and it is through her that light will shine out of her darkness; it is through her light that your generation's heart will be enlightened with the knowledge of My Glory; I shall pour out My Spirit on the House that I had given her and I will display My Holiness in her to honour My Name; (TLIG October 25, 1992)

Vassula Ryden and the True Life in God Associations take pleasure in inviting you to join us on a Pilgrimage to Moscow, a truly iconic and global city; the 860 year-old capital and most populous city of the Russian Federation.

Our Pilgrimage will take us on a unique spiritual tour of the most historically significant and sacred Christian sites of Moscow and its suburbs, including the Red Square, the Kremlin, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour and many famous monasteries such as Danilov Monastery, Doskoy Monastery, Novodevichy Monastery and the New Jerusalem Monastery. We shall also visit some of the monasteries in the Golden Ring, St. Sergius Lavra, Suzdal and Vladimir. This will be an opportunity to travel outside Moscow and see the 'real Russia'.

We shall be spending 8 nights at Best Western Vega Plus, a 4 star Hotel. The hotel is located in the historical part of Moscow, Izmailovo, close to the Izmajlovskij Kremlin, and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

This Pilgrimage will be a journey to the country about which our Lord has given so many prophesies proclaiming in His Messages that "Russia will be the Symbol of God's Glory"; "Russia will Govern the rest of My children in Holiness"; "... My Plan for Russia is great; realise that I will use you for My Glory."

For many, it will be a once in a lifetime experience which we will share as one family in Christ. We look forward to welcoming you on the 2017 Pilgrimage, to pray in unity and share memorable events.

Our Programme will commence in Moscow, with pilgrims arriving on Saturday, September 2nd. Pilgrims will depart for their respective countries on Sunday, September 10th.

If you do not choose your roommate then please accept the person allocated to share with you. (It's part of the pilgrimage experience) Please make sure you have travel insurance. As we have a limited number of rooms, we will not be able to guarantee a lot of single rooms.

Entry Visas

Please give special attention to this section.
Many pilgrims will need a visa to enter Russia. Countries NOT needing a visa can be viewed at http://www.tlig.net/russia/VISAfree.pdf
Pilgrims passports will need to have an expiry date longer than 6 months after the departure date. Pilgrims will need an invitation letter which can be obtained from our agent. Note that the arrival and departure dates must match your flight dates. Pilgrims should check how soon they can apply for a visa in their country. Depending on the country, visa applications will not normally be possible until 6 months (or less) prior to arrival in Russia. It is highly recommended that you do not submit your visa in person to a Consulate or Embassy but rather obtain your visa through a travel company that specialises in assisting with Russian visas. They will help you with completing your application form, inform you of any special requirements for your country, associated fees and processing times. As mentioned earlier, registrations close on July 2nd. If you are not allowed to submit your visa two months prior to the actual Pilgrimage, kindly inform us immediately.

Cancellation charges

Until 30th June FREE
1st July to 1st August 450 euros (no charge if visa refused)
2rd August to 2nd September NO REFUND

(In case you share a room with a close friend or family member and for any reason your chosen roommate needs to cancel the trip, we may need to replace your roommate with a pilgrim on a potential waiting list.)
