Also, Pope Francis will "celebrate the first ever public Mass in UAE"....

ZENIT Speaks with Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia Bishop Paul Hinder....

Bishop Paul Hinder has no doubt: “Whether it is Christians among Muslim or Muslims among Christians, we have to learn to live in harmony with one another,” he says, looking forward to Pope Francis’ next international trip to the United Arab Emirates, Feb. 3-5, 2019, a small country on the Arabian Peninsula, where Catholics are generally small minorities everywhere. It is not the first visit of Francis to an Islamic country, after his travels to Turkey, Bosnia, Azerbaijan, Egypt and Bangladesh. But the announcement of this trip, as Bishop Hinder confirms, took everyone by surprise....

Meanwhile, Pope Francis sets off for Panama today for the World Youth Day!

And regarding the Pope's position on Unity here again are Vassula's words:

Pope Francis has approached Unity with the Orthodox Church like no other Pope and this is the reason the devil has turned wild on him and has created all this chaos and persecution against him vomiting on him by the so called stiff necked Catholics who still call the Orthodox schismatic and who would never want to BEND to be able to unite.

This thread seems like a good place to also post this video of Fr Laurentin explaning full communion.

I know that this forum is not the place to post links to subjects outside of TLIG too much, but I wanted to share something that I came across recently that supports what Vassula says above.

I was reading a summary of some scientific experiments done in the realm of intentions (the power of intentions, which is all the rage now) where scientists were able to change the pH of water at a distance using the power of thought. And the scientist said that two things were necessary to achieve results: people had to be sincere in their intentions of thought and they had to be united. Otherwise, the experiment would not work or not as well.

I just about fell off my chair when I read this! This is the principle of unity of TLIG that Vassula speaks so often about, being concluded by scientists as a result of experiments! I mean, they know the power that unity and prayer has and no wonder the system aims to divide us all the time. So yes, unity is a huge threat to the enemies of the Church.

I'm not praying in any TLIG groups this year, but may our prayers for unity all be joined together by Our Lady in the Holy Spirit.

p.s. just wanted to add that I'm not saying that prayer to God is the same thing as thought or intention. But I do think it's possible that similar spiritual conditions may apply to both.

Thank you andree for a reminder of this particular video of Fr Laurentin responding to Vassula's very deliberate question - "what constitutes full communion with the Catholic church?" The translator struggles a little which is not surprising as she is Spanish and is having to translate from French into English!

Here is part 2 of Fr Laurentin's response To Vassula's question:
